Wahab Riaz Spell was ‘Nasty’, Says Shane Watson

World Cup 2015: Shane Watson told to media after Australia VS Pakistan Quarter Final match that Wahab Riaz Spell was ‘Nasty’.

Australia Beat Pakistan by 6 wickets in quarter final match and qualify for semi finals, where Australia will face India 26 March.

Shane Watson admitted he was lucky to escape Wahab Riaz’s fired spell.  Watson played an unbeaten 64 off 66 balls but he was dropped on 4 runs by Rahat Ali at fine leg off a 145 kmh Wahab Riaz bouncer.

Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq also praises Wahab Riaz.

“He bowled his heart out and was a different kind of bowler throughout this tournament. I have never seen a bowler bowling like that and if that catch had been taken who knows what could have happened?,” said Misbah.

Waseem Akram Says about Wahab, “One of the top fast bowler in this tournament in my opinion”.

“That spell by Wahab was as good as any I have faced in one-day cricket after a long time,” Michel Clarke said.
