Its Galaxy S6 launch and ended up with unsold inventory like it did with the Galaxy S5, but luckily for mobile boss J.K. Shin and company, sales have jumped out to a quick start. It was reportedly earlier that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge combined for over 20 million pre-orders, and now it’s estimated the premium duo will notch more than 55 million unit sales by the end of the year.
That is coming from the latest report by DRAMeXchange. In it, the outfit revised its outlook upwards by over 20 percent after witnessing the early success and high praise Samsung’s flagship phones have been receiving, much of which is centered on the premium metal and glass design that replaced the plastic construction the South Korean handset maker was so found of.
