LAHORE : The election court on Mon disqualified Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique once irregularities were confirmed in NA-125 polls that were control within the body within the might 2013 general elections, Dunya News reported. In its finding of fact, the court declared NA-125 results null and void and ordered for conduct of re-polls within the body at intervals next sixty days.

It may be mentioned here that PTI candidate Hamid Khan had challenged the conclusion of PML-N’s Saad Rafiq alleging that he lateen-rigged NA-125 polls.

Saad Rafique will currently approach the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the choice.

The commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declared that schedule of by-election on the seat are declared once notification concerning Saad Rafique`s disqualification is issued.

Polling would happen at intervals 2 months, the ECP added .

ISLAMABAD, The (ET) on Monday announced its decision about alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections in NA-125 Lahore. The Tribunal ordered re-polling in the constituency.

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique had won the election from the constituency which was challenged by Hamid Khan of PTI.
